I'm absolutely fascinated by what you can do with wire! It's like magic! At the same time wire isn't a very forgiving material so each twist and turn needs to be considered carefully.
Everything starts with a spool of wire and handheld pliers. I'm staying away from using glue or soldering so all stones etc have to be wrapped just so to stay securely in place.
Besides being surrounded by loads of copper/silver/gold and coloured wire as well as surprising amounts of beads and gemstones of all sizes, I enjoy the company of two lovely felines, Sydney and Siri. Siri keeps an eye on the quality and durability of each piece, where as Sydney concentrates on relaxation and enjoying the moment.
Jewellery is my newest adventure; I also teach dance (a nice stretch of 25 years so far) and solve IT problems for various small businesses.
